Com-Unic® Quality Standards

What sets apart a seminar or training from Com-Unic from those of other service providers?

Please refer to Com-Unic’s methodology.

The following guidelines apply to all courses and seminars held by Com-Unic.

1. General Points:

  • Individually tailored training and seminars

  • Goal and need-oriented training

  • No “standard courses”

  • Opportunity for the language learner to freely speak the language (ratio of talking time for teacher to student is 20% / 80%)

  • Direct application of learned skills in the job environment, if necessary with support from Com-Unic

  • Online databases accessible to all participants

  • Each participant receives a personal login and is subscribed to the Com-Unic newsletter

  • Practical, job-oriented language training

  • Company and client-oriented training topics

  • Cross-qualified and multi-qualified trainers

  • Substantial practical knowledge and field-specific knowledge on the part of the trainers

  • Contact partner always available on location

2. Prior to Training:

  • Through talks with the personnel coordinator, conditions and requirements are
    determined

  • Evaluatory talks with each participant before training begins

  • A written test is available for the participants, and is also available online

  • For each training, the course content is determined together with the participants and recorded in the course concept

  • Training goals are established

  • Progress checks at regular intervals

3. During Training

  • Trainers maintain a separate trainer file for each course including lesson reports for each individual session, a list of participants and a course concept

  • Dates for the sessions are determined by the trainer and participants, except in the case of seminars or when assigned by the personnel coordinator

  • Course portfolio and course materials are available to every participant

  • Trainers reliably and punctually keep all appointments

  • No change of trainer during a course (except in cases of extreme illness or other
    unforeseeable circumstances)

4. Completion of Training

  • Upon completion of the course, a final course report provides information on which
goals were achieved and the participants’ progress

  • A copy of the closing course report is forwarded to the personnel coordinator

  • Feedback is collected from all participants

  • After the feedback has been evaluated, a summary is forwarded to the personnel
    coordinator

5. Trainer and Team

  • Good mixture of different teaching styles

  • This allows us to select the appropriate trainer for each group

  • All trainers are native speakers, qualified to hold training / seminars

  • Trainers are instructed to create a positive learning atmosphere

  • All trainers have at least 2 years of teaching experience

  • Alle trainers work on a freelance basis, allowing Com-Unic to more flexibly respond to the needs and preferences of our clients

  • All trainers are made familiar with Com-Unic’s standards of quality and are expected to uphold them
