Corporate Language Training

We offer language and intercultural training for the following languages:

English as an international business language (American English / British English)

German as a foreign language

French - the language of our neighbors

all common European languages (Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French)

Chinese

We will determine for you, free of charge, your employees’ training needs and, based on that assessment, recommend to you one of the following training options, tailored to your individual budget.

Each of our participants receives their own course portfolio containing the materials covered in the course. In addition, all participants have free access to online support. Com-Unic also offers a professional translation service, subject to fees.

1. Extensive Language Training
Our language training is not based on traditional courses, which are worked through in a linear fashion. Instead, our courses are much more oriented on the needs and demands of the participants.

As a first step, the current language level of each participant is determined through individual talks. This allows us to better assess their individual learning style and select the appropriate trainer, teaching methods and intensity of the course accordingly. Extensive language training normally entails one to two 90-minute sessions per week, and is held in groups of no more than six students.

Com-Unic offers all of the most important European and Asian languages, with an emphasis on English as an international business language.

Our goal is to equip participants to quickly apply a foreign language in the practice of their day-to-day careers. We therefore place particular focus on the ability to speak freely.

Our website offers free support for all participants. Here they can also find supplemental materials to accelerate the learning process and deepen what they have already learned.

2. Intensive Language Training
The content and general layout match those of extensive language training. However, here participants are taught more intensively and with a more specific focus shortly before going abroad. Here as well, the ability to speak freely with a focus on particular business needs is a central goal. Please note that we require a certain degree of advance planning time in order to appropriately analyze the participants’ language level and organize the course.

3. Language Coaching
In language coaching, one to ten participants receive intensive training in order to deepen their knowledge of specific topics from their on-the-job practice:

presentation techniques for leading discussions and negotiations

telephone conversations / videoconferencing

presentation skills

correspondence

The American Way / intercultural aspects

small talk

specialized secretarial training

All topics are offered in the most common European languages and Chinese. Coaching is intended for advanced level participants, and is available throughout the entire German-speaking area. Depending on the participants’ specific needs, language coaching is available for one to three-day blocks.
