Those who know their own goals also know what they are investing their time in.  Goals give us orientation, they motivate and help us to use our own, limited resources more effectively.  Here it is necessary to decide between dealing with what is urgent and what is (merely) important, and to constantly re-evaluate our priorities.  Time management offers you the opportunity to develop your own, personal goal planning and learn the accompanying techniques to implement it.
